CACI International Cyber Security Analyst in Mclean, Virginia
What You’ll Get to Do:
As the Senior Cyber Security Analyst you are responsible for analyzing network/system topologies from a CI and network engineering perspective. You will conduct technical security and risk assessments, draft assessment reports and memoranda for senior officers, develop and provide assessment briefings. This is a mission critical role requiring a dynamic yet extremely detail oriented individual.
More About the Role:
Participate in testing and evaluating a variety of IT hardware and software used by customers in their IT networks to identify potential security and CI risks induced by the products.
Develop system hardening procedures to eliminate the identified risks.
Work closely with the Project Lead and team members to develop a penetration test plan, obtain the resources to conduct the tests, execute the test and document results.
Research and evaluate a variety of penetration and vulnerability test tools to assist with the CI Assessment process.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience working on TCP/IP networking projects
Demonstrate network security principles
Experience planning, configuration, implementation and maintenance of IP network infrastructure products including routers, switches, wireless networking, VPNs and Firewalls
Hands on network management experience with Solera, Probe, Wireshark, HP Openview, Solarwinds
Exposure/use/familiarity with Cisco iOS, NXOS, JunOS
Hands-on experience with using commercial and open source penetration test tools
Demonstrated experience with conducting technical evaluations/assessments of IT equipment
